Austerity protests == Athens burns. Discuss solidarity

Go fuck yourself and your

Go fuck yourself and your disillusioned reality. You can live by yourself in your sanitized reality but the truth is about gas masks to protect nasal passages, chisels to free up concrete to throw, fire extinguishers to blind those lit up by petrol bombs (or potassium chlorate, sugar, and Sulfuric acid).......fuck you and your gaming. Get off your ass and your fantasies and fight with the rest of us. You are a worthless piece of animated flesh. Live free or die.

SOLIDARITY MEANS

the reason for the austerity

the reason for the austerity measures is so that Greece can pay pack bankers with bonds. banks are responsible for the misery of austerity.

Usually, they let countries

Usually, they let countries go bankrupt, but since the EU exists, now, they don't let one of their states default. That would also cause a chain reaction with Italy, Spain and Ireland.

"let" is really the wrong

"let" is really the wrong word. Countries usually go through structural adjustment programs demanded by the IMF and other austerity programs before the default, that is when all the money is stolen by multinational banks, and defaults happen once the country becomes uncontrollable and can no longer be tricked/indebted into selling off all their wealth in exchange for continued loans... The banks would be ok with continuing that forever.

The domino effect is making it harder to say "were not paying" to banks for sure due to the threat other countries will follow the example and banks won't get bailed out...

ATTACK POWER, IN ALL ITS

PAME messenger: Listen

PAME messenger: Listen carefully, Leonidas. Empire conquers and controls everything it rests its eyes upon. It leads an army so massive it shakes the ground with its march, so vast it drinks the rivers dry. All the God-Queen Papariga requires is this: a simple offering of earth and water. A token of Sparta's submission to the will of PAME.
Anarchist: Submission. Well, that's a bit of a problem. See, rumor has it that the Athenians have already turned you down. And if those Leftists and... cop-lovers have found that kind of nerve—
Liberal: We must be diplomatic -.
Anarchist: (cutting him off) And of course Spartans... have their reputation to consider.
PAME messenger: Choose your next words carefully, anarchist. They may be your last, as prole.
[The anarchist turns and ponders the offer. They look at various people standing around, watching them nervously, the last of whom is Bonanno.]
Anarchist: [in their head] Earth and water... [having made up their mind, they draw their rock on the PAME messenger, whose back is to a large well. The anarchists follow suit and draw their swords on the other messengers.]
PAME messenger: Madman... You're a madman!
Anarchist: Earth and water... You'll find plenty of both down there. [indicates the well with his rock]
PAME messenger: [nervous] No man, German or Greek, no man threatens a messenger!
Anarchist: You bring the crowns and heads of comrades to my city's steps! You insult my friends. You threaten my people with slavery and death! Oh, I've chosen my words carefully, Stalin. Perhaps you should have done the same.
PAME messenger: This is provocation! This is madness! [Leonidas lowers his rock and looks toward Bonanno, who nods]
Anarchist: [facing the PAME messenger] Madness? THIS. IS. EXARCHIA.

“We’ve fought several times

“We’ve fought several times for liberation, but this slavery is worse than any other,” said Stella Papafagou, 82, pulling down a surgical mask worn over her mouth to keep out tear gas being fired by the police to push back protesters from Parliament. “This is worse than the ’40s,” she said, referring to the Nazi occupation.

“This time the government is following the Germans’ orders,” she said. “I would prefer to die with dignity than with my head bent down.”

Makis Barbarossos, 37, an

Makis Barbarossos, 37, an insurance salesman, said he had lost faith in Greek politicians.

“They’re all sold out in there; they should be punished,” he said, waving a cigarette in the direction of the Parliament building. “We should put them in small, unheated apartments with 300-euro pensions and see can they live like that. Can they live how they’re asking us to live?” Asked what the solution was, his answer was blunt. “Three hundred nooses,” he said, referring to the 300 members of Parliament.

What is the phrase? 'The

What is the phrase? 'The Greeks get it'.

Analogy with the Nazi

Analogy with the Nazi occupation is on the spot, since that's the best comparison...

It pretty much seems like the Troika is controlled by fascist Germans after all. Back then, the Nazis also robbed Greek assets by the billions, and forcing them in a debt slavery relation, that was later used widely by the IMF.

But the reality is that the fascist corporate occupiers are wimps! But you're not going to defeat them in the streets, aside fro what we tend to believe.

Look at what the arena and the hypogea used to be in the Roman Coliseum. This is exactly what city streets are today.

If you want to kick them out of your country, you've gotta to aim much higher than street-level, and further from your direct social milieu.

Open your eyes, comrades, that bail out crap is State terrorism used against us all in order to plunge us deeper into slavery. There is no point debating about Austerity and how it's bad, we are way beyond that point. We can't just simply occupy squares and smash stuff in the streets, they overcame this and will overcome it again, like they do today, after a stupid 48 hours strike that was nothing else than MANIPULATION!

you're right, it must a

you're right, it must a strike without end! burn the parliament!

Well, that'd be the best

Well, that'd be the best thing they could do. ;)

No parliament, no more spectacle of democracy, and no more politicians to act as the henchmen of foreign profiteers.

But hordes of stalinists, leftist idiots and cops are standing in the way, so it might not be as easy as in the fairy tale, but who knows... might happen!

What if the owner of that

When Bush was elected, I used to make this kind of artwork, but I never thought it would come true.

yes y'all we are consuming

yes y'all we are consuming the idea of resistance through the Greek struggle. this makes no fucking sense. History will look back at us and say, "well they failed because Greece attracted a captive audience." We are an AUDIENCE! We are fake!

"LET’S TURN THE SOCIAL

"LET’S TURN THE SOCIAL EXPLOSION INTO REVOLUTION"
- occupied law school

"Tens of banks and other buildings are burning across Athens after today’s demonstrations. There are huge riots in Thessaloniki and Patra as well. The situation seems to be spiralling out of control."
editor's note on the Occupied London blog

"23.10 GMT+2 It is entirely impossible to estimate the number of people who have taken to the streets in Athens tonight. They are definitely in the hundreds of thousands – there are simply people everywhere."
-entry in the updates

At the very least, this proves things aren't over in Greece, that things in fact did not peak in '08. While this be the big one? That remains to be seen. But at least we now have concrete evidence that there's no such thing as "blowing your load too soon" or whatever that I hear all the time. Every act of insurrection builds something.

No, no. no. it's not a real

No, no. no. it's not a real gun shop. It just sells replicas, bb guns, air softs, paint ball guns. Shit like that. It's a fascist store from what I've heard. It was the same one looted in December 2008.

source?

source?

No need, these stores are

No need, these stores are well-known in Greek cities, and they indeed are owned by fascist dorks who get-off on BB guns and SWAT team regalia. These are obvious targets in riots.

The real guns come from other sources.

whoa! can some anon link me

whoa! can some anon link me some news or something on this?!

What is going on in Greece

What is going on in Greece this morning?

Pretty stoked they burned Marfin bank down again.

1. Find the banks that are

1. Find the banks that are trying to rob Greece.
2. Let them know we are not pleased with them.
3. They are doing the same to people everywhere.
4. Interrupt their everyday operations here. (wherever that is)
5. Underline the cannibal factor.

Stupid old leftist hippie

Stupid old leftist hippie tactics. Proven unefficient many times.

Behind the banks, cash and corporate facets, there are a handful of people. Who are they, where do they live, what they do, where they go for fucking and partying, where they meet; these are the questions you don't care about, and the reason why they still aren't impressed by your cannibal fantasy threats.

As long as you stay out of their "high society", they don't give a flying fuck about whatever you'll do to their cannon-fodder down below

I like this better than what

I like this better than what i originally wrote....
