PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
Since June 11th, 2010 Counter-Currents Publishing has been operating in secret in the Sunset District under the management of Greg Johnson and Michael Polignano (1). Their objective, in their words is, “to destroy the cultural hegemony of multiculturalism and anti-white racism and to replace them with the cultural hegemony of white pride, white self-assertion, and White Nationalism.”(2) They argue there are inherent differences between people based on their race, believe that whites are inherently superior to other racial groups, and believe American Jews are responsible for anti-white propaganda. Their distributed works include the writings of infamous fascist, Nazi, and New Right authors such as Julius Evola (3), Alain de Benoist (4), Kevin MacDonald (5), and Nazi spy Savitri Devi (6).
Upon discovering their existence and operation in San Francisco we, the operatives of Circle Ansuz and our friends and allies, have worked to raise awareness of their existence, their racist ideology, and mobilize pressure to shut down their organization. Allowing their organizing and promotional efforts to proceed unhindered and unopposed would only lead to further racially motivated violence (7) in our city and the Bay Area. On October 30th we began our campaign against Counter-Currents Publishing (8).
For Circle Ansuz their promotion of authors and books which claim Pagan and Heathen spirituality are racially-based is among the most personal of their crimes. As Heathens we believe any claims of racial basis to spirituality are nothing more than a bald-faced attempt to pervert our practices into a front for fascist, racist propaganda. Such claims run counter to the moral and ethical foundations of modern Heathen and Pagan spirituality.
On December 17th, nine days after our action (9) on the white supremacists' martyrs' day, Counter-Currents announced the first of many moving sales (10). If they continue to operate anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area they will be found, exposed, and opposed wherever they run or however they hide. We call upon all the people of the Bay Area to join us in non-violent opposition to organized racism in our communities. As long as those people continue to operate unhindered people will suffer the consequences of their hatred.

And after we burn their books
And after we burn their books we can smash their heads so we can ensure they will never be able to communicate their ideas again! Then we will hang their bodies from a light pole so that anyone else who thinks the way they do will understand they will be next and that we are watching everywhere to ensure only the thoughts we believe to be true are those in peoples heads! We will initiate a cadre of dedicated anti-fascist to monitor fascist ideology and tendencies in their local area and based on the cadre's reports punitive action will be taken.
Seriously though, a bit of
Seriously though, a bit of minor harassment of neo nazis is good practice for action-minded folks. When anarchist death squads are ideologically purging society en masse, then your stupid analogy might be appropriate.

Spreading information about
Spreading information about oppressive people and organizations and urging people to fight against them...yes totally see how you came to your conclusion. I mean I get a little of where you're coming from, I don't agree with a lot of anti-fa types, but still...smurf off.
It's important for us to stay
It's important for us to stay true to our libertarian ideals and make sure we don't censor anybody. To that end, I suggest:
- we shouldn't ever call anybody out for being racist, sexist or homophobic.
- we shouldn't keep tabs on neo-nazi groups operating in our areas
- we shouldn't try to warn marginalized communities about potential attacks
- we shouldn't speak up when neo-nazis form alliances with well-known "moderate" political figures
- what happens on stormfront.org, stays on stormfront.org
No censorship here. None at all. Nope.
"And after we burn their
"And after we burn their books we can smash their heads so we can ensure they will never be able to communicate their ideas again!"...you say this like it's a bad thing
I see what you did there.
I see what you did there.
Yeah anti-fascism! Boo new
Yeah anti-fascism! Boo new age neo-spirituality...
What about age-old proto
What about age-old proto-spirituality you jerk?
Self identifying modern
Self identifying modern pagans.
New age interpritation and attempt to revive long dead religions
As opposed to a Christian idea of pagan
meaning any polytheist savage.
So ya know, it's white folks
culturally appropriating dead white folks
but wait, they insist that
but wait, they insist that the dead folks they're culturally appropriating from WEREN'T just white, didn't you read the above?
Is it cultural appropriation
Is it cultural appropriation if its their own culture? Also by their own words they have nothing to do with simple New Age spirituality, they are historically based.
It's not their own culture,
It's not their own culture, though. 21st century Americans have pretty much no real connection to medieval European pagan traditions that were destroyed by the rise of Christianity. It's just appropriating an extinct culture rather than a living one. Having seen Buffy or Thor at an impressionable age is not the same thing as having been raised by druids.
First of all, I'm not a pagan
First of all, I'm not a pagan or a neo-pagan, but I do understand those practices unlike some here so I want to say this.
These kinds of critisisms (above) are usually leveled by people who have NO spirituality, and think the only appropriate and (non-culturally-appropriated) paradigm for americans is needling self-doubt, or at best a strong, atheistic nihilism. There's more fraud than not in what people refer to as New Age, but you have to realize that for those who are culturally afloat in the postmodern world, totally cut off from their heritage and homeland by the American desolation, true spiritual connection and seeking is not only possible, it is healthy and necessary for a coherent worldview. That's FIRST OF ALL.
Saying "21st century Americans have pretty much no real connection to midieval European pagan traditions" is factually ridiculous. Those are our ANCESTORS, not characters in a fable. Without them, there is no us. And calling the culture extinct I take even more offence to. Go ahead and say the same thing about Native Americans here and see what kind of response you get. Their religion was DESTROYED by the RISE OF CHRISTIANITY, right? And they have no real connection to their ancestors who hunted buffalo, since they're living on chips and TV dinners on the rez now, right? Read "Dreamtime" by Hans Peter Duer, that might give you a little more perspective. Look up the Bloody Verdict of Verden. This is a complicated issue with a long, sore history.
The movement you're referring to is probably WIcca and its offshoots, which are 20th century manifestations which arose in the wave of Theosophy, a movement with a dubious history of its own (to say the least). I have no place to say that anyone is wrong in the way they seek their connection to the spirit, but I do know that Wiccans and neo-pagans are often pretty well adjusted people who care about the natural world and living things in general. But not always. That's about all I got on 'em.
Just don't cast people who are clinging to a lifeboat back out to sea, that's all I'm sayin.
Sorry, but anarchism is
Sorry, but anarchism is materialist. Always has been. I'm fine with needling self-doubt, cos it makes us question ourselves, and that's the best way to avoid ending up with beliefs that are a complete sack of shit, like religion. If God existed, it would be necessary to abolish him, and the same goes for the Lord and Lady, Odin, the Great Spirit and the fairies at the bottom of your garden. Sure, most pagans are ultimately proles and so where it makes sense I'll co-operate with them the same way I'd co-operate with any other prole against capital and the state, but I won't pretend that their mystical worldview is anything other than an obstruction to a coherent materialist understanding of the world we live in, just like Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
And we have no real connection to our pagan ancestors. Some people have a living, organic tradition to their Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu or whatever heritage, because they were raised by people who passed that tradition down to them in a long unbroken chain. That doesn't make their beliefs any less bullshit, but it does mean that they have a living connection to that cultural heritage in a way that some kid born in the Bay Area at the end of the 20th Century does not have to a bunch of pagans who got wiped out in 782 on a different continent.
And your comparison to Native Americans isn't quite accurate. It's more along the lines of if one tribe got completely conquered by another tribe a thousand years ago, and they all abandoned their way of life and adopted the practices of the dominant tribe, and then in the 18th century some of them migrated to another continent, then yes, I think it would be fair to say that that tribe's descendants today would have no real connection to their traditions.
I guess it's cool that the Circle Ansuz people are involved in anti-racist action and not just spending all their time going to Renaissance Fayres or playing Dungeons & Dragons, but I still think it'd be better if they dumped their religious baggage and just became normal anarchists, the same way that I recognise Catholic Worker people do some good stuff but I still think their ideology is a totally contradictory pile of shit.
No gods, no masters, that's all I'm sayin.
If they're so white supremist
If they're so white supremist, how come they hate white homosexuals, white athiests, white socialists, white communists, and white anarchists?
It's almost like they don't even believe in their own ideas of "white supremacy", but are instead using it as a front to push some stupid moral hegemonic code.
It's ultimately ideological
It's ultimately ideological supremacy rather than whatever bullshit they spew about white racial cohesion or whatever. I've encountered some neo-nazis before and let me tell you, they don't give a fuck about you being white if you're a leftist, hell they probably hate you more than blacks or jews.
Oh, I know, I was just
Oh, I know, I was just calling bullshit on their ideas (from their point of view), and poking holes in them. Cause that's what I do best!
~make total destroy!~
Don't you already know that
Don't you already know that upwards of 99.9% of white supremacists push the most reactionary socially conservative and/or reactionary agenda? They are misogynist, heterosexist, religious extremists, and pro-private property/small capitalism.

Turning Tor off was the only thing that suppressed the error and permitted me to post this notification of an error message in the place of what I wanted to say.
