What is nihilism? What is hope? Can one have both? Are they sentiments? Systems of belief? Realities? Are they the same reality? This conference will grapple with the concepts of ‘nihilism’ and ‘hope’ as two fundamentally inseparable ideas—in contrast to the notion of these two terms being diametrically opposite and/or mutually exclusive, as they are sometimes understood.

No More Locked Doors Conference, Oakland, May 16th

Announcement of May 16th Conference

In commemoration of the horrific bombing of the MOVE Organization by Philadelphia police 30 years ago, on Saturday, May 16th in Oakland, CA, people will come together at the radical community center Qilombo for the ‘No More Locked Doors’ conference. During the day, groups will be tabling and there will be workshops. In the evening, there will be a panel of former political prisoners. After the panel, revolutionary hip-hop artists will perform.

Anarchapulco 2015

Anarchapulco is the first international anarchist/anarcho-capitalist conference of its type and will be held in the freest city in North America, Acapulco, Mexico from February 24th to March 1st, 2015 at the Copacabana Hotel on the beach. Our vision is to take freedom and anarchy to the next level and that means holding events in much freer areas like Acapulco. The event will be a mix of music, speakers, panels, parties and educational opportunities including an entrepreneurship bootcamp hosted by Exosphere to help prepare the next generation of ancaps, Luke Rudkowski’s “Change Media University” and Dayna Martin’s workshop on peaceful parenting and unschooling.
