Attentat on Immediatism Podcast

Attentat is a journal of nihilist and anarchist ideas, including "Insurrectionary Anarchism as Activism" and "Nihilism as Strategy," two of its essays. "Art of Nothing" is a nihilist piece patterned after Tsunzi's the Art of War. "A Critique of Critique" is "the gap between what we need and what we can get" and "a lament about the role of recuperation and our role in perfecting it." "A Howl Against Marx" looks at Marx in each of his roles as sociologist, economist, and political philosopher, then concludes that "[o]ur hatred for the system does not accompany a capacity to do much about it. We would not even recommend building this capacity. This building of capacity is one of the surest ways to be noticed by the agents of authority.... Therefore we are left with little but our howl." Five additional essays have been left unrecorded for you to enjoy in print. Attentat is published by Pistols Drawn and is available from LittleBlackCart.com.

MARGINS OF REALITY - Massimo Passamani

MARGINS OF REALITY -- Episode 1: Massimo Passamani

MARGINS OF REALITY is a new podcasting project undertaken by a group of friends who share an intense passion for anarchy and limitless experimentation. We have been collaborating with each other for quite some time on a number of print projects (some of which will be familiar to the more notorious cretins out there), another podcast (over at www.freeradicalradio.net), and a weekly anarchist reading group that most of us have been attending for years. In embarking on this new endeavor, our intention is not only to document and share some of the insights, aporias, and experiences that have emerged out of our conversations and lived experiences of revolt; we also aim to create for ourselves and others a space of limitless experimentation and limitless self-creation for those with the audacity to "base [their] affair on nothing" and consciously construct their life against all domination and submission.

Immediatism podcast 80 & 81: Elpis Journal

A journal for pessimists and pessimist sympathizers

for pessimists and pessimist sympathizers

Elpis, a journal that lives in the space anarchism cohabits with nihilism
Whereas prior entries in this space concerned themselves more with fierce questions about who and what to destroy and less about what is political about hating everything and having no hope that (individual) human agency can effect enough of the change one would wish upon the world, Elpis is different.

Towards a Critique of Antifascism

Towards a Critique of Antifascism

From Medium by Ausonia Calabrese

Before anything further is said, I must stress the fact that this is a critique coming from within the antifascist tradition. It is a self-appraisal of our discursive boundaries, to point (or beckon) towards that which we cannot speak of through the languages we have wrought for ourselves.

War On the State- Not On the Virus

Why Nihilism? A Response to John Zerzans “Why Hope? (Critique of the Nihilist tendency in Anarchism)”

For years, John Zerzan has inspired my understanding of green anarchy through many of his texts. I enjoy “Anarchy Radio” and the topics he covers, as well as his sense of humor!

I recently discovered this text online and acting on an impulse decided to write up a quick response to it! As with all my writing, I only speak for myself and my own personal experiences.

FRR Books Podcast: On The Advantage And Disadvantage Of History For Life by Friedrich Nietzsche

What is the point of studying history? The greatest argument I have heard is that if we know history we can change the future. Nietzsche makes this argument, but this ignores the fact that history is often a weight and a burden. Despite what most liberals believe, knowledge is not always 100% positive. Sloterdijk said that "Those who first uttered the phrase that knowledge is power didn't mean only to make that equation, but to also intervene in the game of power." This is the positive of knowing history, power! But, knowledge can also be a burden. Knowledge can function as a chain which limits us. What is heavier than history?

Roll Call: Green Scare Anarchist Bookfair May 9th-10th 2020

With hysterical excitement, we announce the dates of this year's Green Scare Anarchist Bookfair!

In the midst of two governmental forces flexing with military attacks, we celebrate The Coming Collapse with live music, free vegan food, sobriety, and anarchy on May 9th through the 10th!

Does the lock-step march of industrial expansion, technological dominion, and wage-slavery have you feeling fatigued? Does your heart ache from witnessing the utter failure of leftism and positive politics? Are you fed up with the constant demand of identity politicians?

Callout for Submissions for new journal 'Identity Is Crisis' (D&O Distro)

'We find ourselves stuck inside a suffocating false dichotomy in the realm of (anti) politics as it relates to concerns around the topic of identity. On the one hand, we find that the desire to destroy civilization/society in its totality and to attack in the here and now, is occupied, claimed and recuperated by those only concerned in destroying the existent as long as such an existent does not include themselves.

Nihilism is Not Nothing

From: https://medium.com/@NoWing/nihilism-is-not-nothing-c9fd23df2706

Ask nearly anyone, and they will tell you that nihilism is a belief in nothing. Popularized by the movie, the Big Lebowski, and perpetuated by lazy academics and philosophers, this misunderstanding of nihilism has led to a sort of demonization in anarchist circles. Primitivist John Zerzan frequently laments about nihilism, saying things like “…you start having people that are so nihilistic they don’t even care about life anymore.” To Zerzan, nihilism is simply not caring about life.

Degenerations: Between Pride and Gender Victimhood by Anna Beniamino (currently held captive by the state)

“I am anarchist, I am not feminist because I see feminism as a sectorial and victimist withdrawal, I have never made any gender discrimination although I don’t use genderfriendly linguistic conventions, on the contrary I often use dirty politically incorrect language. I think that the annulment of gender privilege and similar oppression is already contained in the search for anarchy, that is to say in the practice of anti-authoritarian relations, and should be cultivated there. Ah, I forgot, I loathe consciousness-raising in public meetings and I also consider assemblies to be blunt instruments. I understand and also have the will to meet. But I see how all too often the assembly degenerates into sterile self-representation.”
