That's indeed accurate that the more retrograde elements of society like the cops were the last ones daring to used "White race", "Black race", etc through mainstream media outlets. I think they might have abandoned the practice in some areas lately, but why are supposedly progressive groups like the one above reanimating that dead horse again?

That's fucking repulsive.

I like to interact and be nice with persons no matter their skin color or ethnic background. To put between me and them that bad conceptual filter sounds like being disrespectul to them, and also dumbing myself down.

Racial categories only take value as negatives... when some suspicious exclusive or demeaning behavior arises from some people, which reveals to be racism, based on *racial prejudice*, or any other racial assumptions.

The most basic ground for these assumptions is... race. If the racial categorizations dissolve, then the semantic grounds for racial prejudice become void. Of course since society is still being structurally racist you can't really pretend it's non-existent, but I'm talking of when enforcing those categorizations at interpersonal level, rather than administrative.

Let's also discuss how classism is way overlooked as a factor of exclusion of deprivation in both administrative and interpersonal relations... Most immigrants in my northern country are from a highly-privileged background in their former countries. Then when they end up studying and looking for work here, their socio-economic backgrounds gives them a major advantage over the people (migrants or not) from a more poor background.
