You will notice that most anarchist texts, including this one and those on North Shore, talk about solidarity with front line land defenders, not hereditary chiefs (though some of those defenders are chiefs, often the ones who received their title in the context of this struggle). Its true we could maybe find ways (like this text) of being more explicit about the distinction, but mostly we are choosing to be specific about who we feel affinity with without insisting on who we don't.
