That's not how I read it at all, and I actually really appreciated this piece. The "problem" of power-thirsty and self-obsessed people in movements has been a huge one for anarchists and anti-capitalists, in fact its holding us back tremendously.

If you get a chance, watch the Dave Chapelle special on George Floyd called 8:46. He was saying let the young people drive, I'm fine in the backseat .and also: "People don't want to hear from celebrities, right now the street can speak for itself." Too me I was really impressed with the gravity of someone like him saying that, and in my opinion one of the biggest struggling blocks for youth in the years to come will be the Gen Z politicos and leader-activists, and other managerial types co-opting struggle in 2020 and the years ahead...

in short, how do we get the leaders out of the way?
