Road block and banner drop [I. W. S. W. A. P.]

via anarquia.info, translation by Anarchist News

Prisons, cameras, police, snitches, drones, debts and mortgages, employment contracts have been some of its devices and mechanisms to reduce our lives to the sad imperative of producing and consuming. Even in this desolate landscape, surrounded by concrete, smog, buildings and honking, there are bodies that resist. From the resistances and uprisings, from the dissidents and desertions of the constituted orders, we have built and won friendships in all territories and at all times, from the most remote to those nearest. We inherit the conviction of those who have made their lives a permanent conflict, always disobedient to the logic of power and capital. The coherence of living and fighting is a flame that spreads and encourages us to continue.

We have known for some time that one of the favorite internal enemies of capitalist democracies has been anarchists. We are aware of the studies that they dedicate to us, of the profiles that they build to identify us, of the ridiculous articles of their experts who try to find our ideas, of the pathetic university tenures carried out, that establish it as the new international threat. Even so, they will only continue to know us by our actions, our explosions, our confrontations, which will continue to overwhelm their legal and police apparatus. We will continue to break your calculations and previsions, your security will be constantly besieged. For you, defenders of order, from the opacity that covers us, our attacks loaded with deep hatred. For our friends and colleagues, all the love.

Before each enemy blow we lick our wounds and we share the laughter and the daring of living with our heads held high, even inside their cages. It has been a month since they imprisoned the comrades Mónica and Francisco, as a greeting to them and framed in the international week of solidarity for the anarchist prisoners we decided to carry out a coordinated action that consisted of a roadblock with tires on the highway and the deployment of a canvas from a nearby catwalk (with the message: MÓNICA Y FRANCISCO A LA CALLE! and a giant symbol of anarchy in the middle) together with the launching of artifices. From this modest gesture we send strength and courage to the comrades recently fallen into the clutches of power, to those who fell into the revolt and to those who for years have continued their struggle from prison.

FIRE TO THE PRISONS AND TO THE SOCIETY THAT NEEDS THEM
