Very well said, if a little scattered. The erasure of Jews (and Muslims) from European culture dates to the Middle Ages (significantly, Jews and Christians were not erased from Near Eastern/North African culture). Caricatures, willful misreadings, dismissals, hostility, and homicide were the standard means of transmitting and reinforcing Christian supremacy, and this attitude (mostly minus the homicide) remains the contemporary default perspective of most Euro-Americans regardless of the hypocritical invocation of the Cold War fiction called "the Judeo-Christian Tradition."
