The so-called "laying flat" comes precisely from the remnants of psychoanalysis. It is just a repetition of the same old story - opening one's heart to God, surviving the illusion of peace constructed by modern society, and living in the ruins of commercial culture... The reactionaries have two attitudes towards this: one is an eldritch rebuke, the other is that there is a potential. But this is not contradictory; if we look at these two views in terms of the process of development of power, we see that they are different stages of the same thing. That is to say, it is the dialectic that creates a disguised opposition.
The struggle of the dialectic is actually so that future generations can lie flat. And the laying flat of future generations is a declaration of the end of history, with Christian ideals. Therefore, this "cannibalistic peace" resonates with the cultures of some developed countries. Although there is still a "great power dream" that holds a contemptuous attitude toward lying down, the process cannot be reversed.
It also brings a terrible nightmare. Just as Hitler promised a middle-class society, it was a fraud. Now, it is transformed into "cannibalism in a civilized way" as the dominant voice in society.
