has me thinking about why I am, it seems, interested in the functioning of *waves hand around*. It is somewhat like this: if I can get a sense of how *this* was built, of how it fits together, of how it functions, how it might fall apart, (i imagine it in my thought experiment as a brutalist skyscraper), if i can understand that then maybe i can get out of the way when it falls. Maybe i can leave a note for those who come after — this is what was done, do something different.
