CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Wanarchy Journal 📢🏴🌊

Wanarchy Journal 《灣那其刊》 is a new bilingual anarchist zine from Taiwan, dedicated to spreading anarchist ideas locally and building solidarity with comrades and oppressed communities worldwide. We are calling for submissions written from anarchist, anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian, libertarian socialist, and adjacent perspectives for our inaugural issue, scheduled for publication in early 2027.

What we are looking for ✍️
- Case studies of anarchism in Taiwan and beyond
- Analyses of current social/political/environmental issues and events
- Introductions to anarchist ideas, concepts, strands, organisations, and figures
- Academic articles
- Book & film reviews
- Creative works (short fiction, poetry, comics & art)
- Traditional Chinese translations of anarchist texts

Languages 🌐
- Submissions in either Traditional Chinese or English are welcome!
- All English submissions will be translated into Traditional Chinese, and vice versa. Authors are welcome to provide their own translations.

Deadline 📅
- Submit your abstract by September 30, 2026, to be included in our inaugural print issue.
- Late submissions may be considered for future issues. All accepted submissions will be published on our social media platforms regardless.

Submission process 📮

   Send an abstract: Email a 300–500 word abstract (Chinese) or 150–300 word abstract (English) to anwan.tw@proton.me

   Review: We will confirm our acceptance of the submission within 1 week.

   Full text: Upon acceptance, you’ll have 1 month to submit your full text.
