On December 31st, one minute before 12, we lit a flame in the name of the anarchist Kyriakos Xymitiris. To honor the memory of our fallen comrade, we erected a barricade made of tires in the police-occupied Kreuzberg. On Bethaniendamm, behind a riot unit, with a few eyes firmly fixed on their necks, ready to defend the action, we lit it and left a slogan for Kyriakos on the street. The cops were so distracted by fireworks that they didn't even notice our presence and we were able to disappear without contact. The international days of action and the commemoration of a fighter who dedicated his life to the fight were the driving force behind our action. Just as no one is left in the hands of the state alone, no one who joins the ranks of fighters who died for the cause of freedom and equality will be forgotten.

Honor the anarchist Kyriakos Xymitiris.

In memory of Georg von Rauch, whose spirit is present in the Kreuzberg struggles.
