Full original title: Spain: Legal developments since last public statement on Gabriel Pomba Da Silva (April 2021)

With this communiqué we want to inform about the current legal situation that continues to prevent the release of our anarchist comrade, despite the fact that 2 years have passed since his arrest (we remember illegal). It is evident the will of the executioners in robes to continue kidnapping Gabriel. With any means that their (almost) unlimited powers allow them, they abuse demonstrating their will to continue turning time into a weapon.

Against the Liberal Creep: We Keep Us Dangerous

From calling for US imperial intervention in Syria to voting for Bernie, the liberal creep within anarchy in the so-called United States in recent years has been a truly disgraceful phenomenon. The pandemic has exponentially metastasized this cancer with supposed anarchists adopting the talking points of the liberal State wholesale and uncritically, especially with regards to the primacy at all costs of a vague and unspecified "safety."

It is the responsibility of free men to trust and to celebrate what is constant—birth, struggle, and death are constant, and so is love, though we may not always think so—and to apprehend the nature of change, to be able and willing to change. I speak of change not on the surface but in the depths—change in the sense of renewal.

But renewal becomes impossible if one supposes things to be constant that are not—safety, for example, or money, or power. One clings then to chimeras, by which one can only be betrayed, and the entire hope—the entire possibility—of freedom disappears.

write an anarchist prisoner today!

From Anarchist Black Cross Belarus

ABC-Belarus countered unprecedented quantity of repressions in 2021. We cannot say that it was unexpected. We expected exactly this after 2020 protests. But such predictability doesnʼt make the burden of anti-repression activism easier.

An Anarchist Rejection of the Covid Culture War

An Anarchist Rejection of the Covid Culture War

From It's Going Down by anonymous

At the beginning of the pandemic the state claimed masks were futile, but this was due to shortage and the government’s refusal to regulate the free market to ease the pain of the pandemic. Once companies managed to catch up with demand, the narrative changed. Many people likely died unnecessarily as a result of this.

Taking responsibility in solidarity with the 3 anarchist comrades

It's what ATMs are for. ATM stands for "Attack This Machine".

Solidarity drawing from Kanskoedelo.com by cyanide zloy

On Thursday, February 10, a Russian court handed down sentences for terrorism to three teenagers from the Siberian town of Kansk. The boys were arrested in the summer of 2020 for posting leaflets with political slogans on the local FSB building. After searching their phones and uncovering a “plot” to blow up a virtual rendering of an FSB building in the video game Minecraft, investigators charged the teens with making explosives and training to participate in terrorist activities.

Why are we still standing outside of precincts?

precincts are for burning, not burnout

from Rose City Counter-Info

What is effective? I do not know. But I know that we need to stop yelling at precincts. It was old in October of 2020 it is fucking ancient now. I do not feel like we honored Amir Locke tonight. I doubt anyone does. And that is why people have stopped coming out. Yelling at a concrete wall does not feel good and is ineffective. Yelling at a concrete wall and then getting the shit beat out of you with your lungs full of teargas definitely does not feel good and is definitely ineffective. [...] This is the first post in what will hopefully be a conversation between Portland anarchists on what to do. Please write a response in your tweets or noblogs or yell at me on the street.

The Faggots & Their Friends on Immediatism podcast

Immediatism now has available readings of the full text of the classic The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions, by Larry Mitchell. Delightfully told through story, it is a history of the experience of non-normative sexuality in the seventies, in the north american context. The concept and writing came about in San Francisco and the book was published in 1977 by Calamus Books, New York City. It is now available through distros including ContagionPress.com and LittleBlackCart.com, as a faithful reprint. If your interest is the concept and metastory, you might enjoy listening to the introduction (episode 765) and also the afterword which is included in the final episode's intro (episode 769). Surprisingly, the endearing story ends with what can be read as an allusion to recuperation and an analysis against identity politics.
