Mikola Dziadok was sentenced to 5 years of incarceration

From Anarchist Black Cross Belarus

On 10 November in the Minsk City Court a sentence in the case of anarchist Mikalai Dziadok was announced.

Dziadok was accused in participation in “mass disorders” (article 342 of the Criminal Code), illegal activities involving flammable substances (article 295-3), and calls for actions aimed to undermine the national security (article 361). In fact, Dziadok was accused in participation in the peaceful demonstration on 23 August 2020 in Minsk and in calls, publicised through his widely read blogs, to participate in protests. Bottles containing fuel (without a wick, so no Molotov cocktails) were planted to his apartment by police.

Vaneigem and the SI, on Immediatism Podcast

Five episodes on Immediatism podcast are readings of Situationist International texts, as the start of a new series (which will continue next time with the SI Anthology). Aragorn's piece discusses Debord's/SotS's continued relevance. Ken Knabb's Preface gives a sense of what to expect from SotS, for those who haven't read it, and is an enjoyable essay even for those who have. The remaining three essays are all included at the front of the Treatise on Etiquette for the Younger Generations, previously known as The Revolution of Everyday Life, by Raoul Vaneigem.

from malacoda

A Quick Guide for the Freedom Day Rallies

For the most part, the kind of muppets who turn out to a rally denouncing vaccines and health mandates are by and large already a long way down the rabbit hole. On any cursory glance at the attendance of the recent anti-vax rallies you will see fascists, conspiracy theorists, “alternative health” cranks, grifters and even evangelicals who believe the virus is some kind of “end of days.” These people are so selfish they won’t even get a vaccine to help contribute to public health and safety. By and large they are pitiful, pathetic and ridiculous. Make good use of that fact.

Gathering outside La Dozza prison

via Inferno Urbano

We are going back outside the prison to express all our solidarity with those who experience prison violence on their skin every day. Alongside anarchist prisoner Beppe, and Mattia, the prisoner who a year ago told the truth about the massacre in the jail of Modena.

reading about anarchism is a crime

from Biblioteca Anarchica Disordine

One of the most important guarantors of these freedoms is to be found in public prosecutor Manuela Comodi of the Perugia prosecutor’s office, who in a brilliant police operation unleashed her watchdogs – the ROS carabinieri – to raid the homes of numerous anarchists in Italy, looking for anarchist publications no less! And think, she even managed to find them… To tell the truth it wasn’t that difficult; like looking for philosophy books in a philosopher’s home or paintbrushes in a decorator’s workshop…

End of the Acrata project

Make, support or read from an anarchist library today!

from acratabxl

The anarchist library Acrata opened its doors in 2008. At the time, a text presented it not only as a “space for meetings and discussions”, but also as an “instrument to sharpen our knowledge and to find solid bases to confront domination”. [...] Today, the library is closing its doors and it is not without a touch of nostalgia that we remember all the discussions, film presentations, exhibitions and other apéros or solidarity meals that took place there. At the moment of putting an end to the adventure that this space has been, we wanted to thank all those with whom we have been able to share these beautiful moments, as well as the sometimes more difficult moments.

Attacks Against 3 Mobile Phone Towers

you love to see it! (also, fun fact: "ácrates" is a gender-neutral way of saying "anarchists" in spanish)

Full title: Saint-Etienne, France: Coordinated Attacks Against 3 Mobile Phone Towers by A.C.R.A.T.E.S (Coordinated Associations for the Anti-Tech Revolt and Eco-Sabotage)

In the night of November 2nd to 3rd 2021, we led a coordinated attack against three cell towers around Saint-Etienne by setting them on fire. (And not one, as the media tried to make it look like!) This cut off telephone communications and momentarily interrupted the dependency that the techno-world needs to survive.

VIDEOS FROM THE TRASH DIMENSION Episode 2 is up

A video adaptation of the zine “Defending Our Hoods And Each Other”, an autozone commercial, and a 55 minute video that feels interesting for this series mostly because of the use of video game footage to do narrative with. A weird example of diy video strategy that opens a lot of narrative doors without having to pay for equipment.
