Solidarity with Exarcheia!: a statement by Anarchist Federation

From Freedom News UK

On Sunday the 26th of August, the Greek police launched a large operation in Exarcheia, the famous rebel district in the centre of Athens. This is a unique place in Europe for its high concentration of squats and other self-organised spaces, but also for its resistance against repression and solidarity with migrants and the precariat.

From Anarchists Worldwide, Saxony, Germany

Received and translated on 22.08.19:

21.08.19: On Monday night, we set fire to several construction vehicles on the grounds of the Zwickau Marienthal Prison construction site. An excavator was burned out completely, the other four excavators and a front end loader were damaged by our fire and made partially unusable. We would like to dedicate this action especially to Loic, the Park Bench 3 and the Basel 18. They are missing from our side.

Arson Attack Against Prison Profiteers SPIE in Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners

From Anarchists Worldwide, Berlin, Germany:

Received and translated on 22.08.19:

Nothing is forgotten.

Even two years later, we have not forgotten the days and nights of the G20 summit in Hamburg; the euphoria on the faces of those in revolt, the headlines about the nightly attacks in the lead up, the noticeable nervousness of the law enforcement officers. We remember the beginning of the campaigns focusing on the G20 and the desire to continue our mutual reference through targeted attacks beyond that short time frame.

Every Death is a Murder – Prisoners Justice Day, Hamilton

From North Shore Counter-Info

On the evening of Prisoners Justice Day, August 10th 2019, a small group of prison hating folks gathered in Hamilton, Ontario at Beasley park for a noise demo. HPS (Hamilton Police Sevices) observed the rally with excessive numbers including bike cops, a cop van, a supervisor suv and two cruisers. As our numbers grew we gathered to listen to a small introduction by the Barton Prisoner Solidarity Project explaining how PJD started and why it continues. The BPSP is a newly developed organization that seeks to thin the prison walls by building connections and magnifying the voices of those inside, while simultaneously working to smash those walls altogether by asking bigger questions about what a world without prisons would look like and figuring out how to get there.

In solidarity with the okupied social centres/squats of Athens

From Autonomies

In a series of police operations in Athens, over the last ten days, four okupied social centres were cleared, including two that provided autonomous, self-managed housing for migrants.

The objective is clear: to discipline rebellious segments of the population (most notably, anarchists), or those who might think of rebelling, to place under State administration and policed surveillance, migrants-refugees, under a politics of social division and colonisation (and thereby trying to bring to end one of the richest experiences of radical “no-border politics” in recent memory), and to pacify the urban space for “investment and renewal”

Greece, Athens : Responsibility Claim on 28.3.19 by Group for the Reconstruction of the Mediterranean Anarchist Triangle

From Act for Freedom Now!

Responsibility Claim
CONCERNING THE RECENT PROSECUTIONS IN ITALY
At the beginning of February the eviction of the squat ASILO OCCUPATO was ordered, a structure of the movement in the city of Turin, with a history of 24 years. The police don’t ‘play’ alone and the evacuation lasts one and a half days because of the resistance from the interior of the squat. Simultaneously all over the city gatherings, meetings, violent protests are being carried out. The carabinieri, in order to silence the reactions, transform entire neighbourhoods into quarantine zones, with blockades, arrests and the prohibition of circulation of traffic. Finally the authorities, as well as the eviction, arrest 6 comrades on charges of subversive activity based on actions against the CIE/CRP [detention centres for immigrants] as well as for solidarity with the revolts that have broken out inside them.

Call for June 11th, 2019

From June 11th

June 11th: the international day of solidarity with Marius Mason and long-term anarchist prisoners. In the 15 years this tradition has been observed, June 11th has facilitated support and action inspired by imprisoned anarchists — from noise demonstrations outside of jails to letter-writing nights, from fundraisers to arson. Setting aside this day is one way of remembering anarchists who are serving long prison sentences, generating support for them, and inspiring solidarity actions.

Anarchy Bang: Introducing Episode Nine - Anarchist Principles

From Anarchy Bang

This week we will try to have an conversation about anarchist principles. In a forgotten past anarchist principles were how anarchists didn't participate in infighting. We were in solidarity with each other. We helped a comrade out (with our marginal resources) because we believed that it was through mutual aid that we were stronger than those who did not have the Beautiful Idea. And because it all mattered we associated with each other freely (including in love). How has this past sensibility informed anarchist practice today and how have things changed? Do we still maintain the old principles or has the anarchist space gotten too large and only local team principles apply? Has media (especially so-called social media) made things better or worse?

New repressions against Russian anarchists: solidarity needed!

On February 1, in Moscow, Russian FSB has raided several flats and arrested 10 people under « conspiracy charges ». All of them were later released, after all-day interrogations and physical tortures, except one person, Azat Miftahov. He is accused of « fabricating explosives » and being a member of a « radical anarchist organization Narodnaya Samooborona » (Peoples’ Self-Defense). This organization has become, during last year, the main target of police repressions in Russia : several members of this group were arrested, tortured or threatened.
