Sisters and brothers, this time let’s not sell out our hopes and our strength to new rulers. We are not separated by different circumstances, we will not sell out our internationalism for the sake of shortsighted alliances with capitalists and imperialists. [...] May your refusal become a fearless new world.

Letter for the International Week of Solidarity w/ Anarchist Prisoners

Write an anarchist prisoner today!

Full title: UK: Letter for the International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners August 23rd – 30th by Imprisoned Anarchist Toby Shone, UK

Despite being in prison, news occasionally reaches me of the many repressive operations and terrible circumstances that our comrades are confronting. That’s why I am in agreement with the proposal once again put forward by the Anarchist Black Cross for a week of solidarity at the end of August. This date is chosen to mark the State murder of anarchists Sacco and Vanzetti. We cannot give in to resignation or become complacent in these times. It is more important than ever to explain and make accessible the anarchist analysis and to put it into practice immediately.

Urgent call for solidarity action

Anarchist prisoner Giannis Michailidis enters 68th day of hunger strike and is in a dire health condition

Giannis Michailidis is an anarchist prisoner in Greece who has been on hunger strike since 23rd May. At the time of writing, he is on his 68th day without food and is in a serious condition in a hospital cell in Lamia in central Greece. Michaildis was sentenced to 20 years in prison for bank robbery, of which he has served 8.5 years. Normally prisoners are eligible for release after serving 3/5 of their sentence, but Giannis has been refused parole on the grounds that he might commit further offences.

Statement of Solidarity With Anarchist Hunger Striker Giannis Michailidis

Statement in solidarity with Greek anarchist political prisoners and hunger-striker, Giannis Michailidis.

The Florida Youth Liberation Front stands in full solidarity with anarchist political prisoner Giannis Michailidis, whose hunger strike for freedom from indefinite imprisonment by the Greek state has now reached a milestone of 67 days. Our message to comrades in Greece and Michailidis himself: we stand in solidarity with the struggle for freedom in territories dominated by the Greek state, and will continue to act in solidarity with this liberatory movement

Fight the class justice!

Write an anarchist prisoner today!

For Giannis Michailidis and all prisoners who fulfill the conditions of release!

Fight now - Call for solidarity actions

Giannis Michailidis’ struggle has been - as intented - a trigger for action not only in Greece but also internationally. The fight for Giannis Michailidis and our freedom should continue even more intensively and combatively in order to offer a perspective for all the prisoners who face the revenge of the state and capital. This perspective though has to be created and to be upheld beyond the immense efforts of that one fighter.

TWO ANARCHISTS ARRESTED IN MOSCOW

TWO ANARCHISTS ARRESTED IN MOSCOW

From anarquia.info, Russia

There is «news» that hits like a punch in the face. They sound like something out of a Dostoevsky novel, but their date is March 6, 2022.

Two fellow anarchists determined to act against the war, and willing to die for it. They are now hostages of the Russian state.

Communique From the Heather Heyer Brigade

We can no longer be on the defensive, but should act to be on the offensive in the name of Heather Heyer, who must not have died in vain. We will fight back. We call on antifascists, communists, anarchists, union members, progressives, liberals, people of color, queer people, religious minorities, and all other parties who face extermination by the fascists to strike directly.

The position of the Group of Belarusian Anarchists in Warsaw on the war in Ukraine

The position of the Group of Belarusian Anarchists in Warsaw on the war in Ukraine

From Pramen

After February 24, among ourselves and with comrades from different countries, we often discuss the situation Europe found itself in. Why did the war start? How has it changed the political prospects of the region and, in particular, Belarus? How do we feel about NATO? Is it possible, while remaining anarchists, to serve in the state armed forces? Finally, what should we do in the context of the war, being part of the diaspora in Poland? We have come up with a collective position on these and other issues, which are outlined in the following text.

Text of imprisoned comrades for Giannis Michailidis

Write a letter to an anarchist prisoner as soon as possible.

Comrade Giannis Michailidis, without renouncing his political identity, without signing statements of repentance, is fighting a long and difficult struggle for his freedom against the special regime of exception that the judicial process, bourgeois justice, has formed. Prison is a mechanism of coercion, the ultimate mechanism of control and recording, a system of surveillance and extermination, of forced transformation of character, but Giannis has endured. He has not forgotten, he has not broken down, and he is now fighting, not only for his personal freedom, but for all the imprisoned and unprisoned militants who are persecuted for ideological and political reasons
