On the day I learnt that they’d extend my ‘temporary’ imprisonment by six months I took the decision to begin my hunger strike; to fight by the only means I still have, my own body.

<table><tr><td><i>Perspectives on Anarchist Theory</i>, the journal of the Institute for Anarchist Studies (IAS), is calling for submissions that address climate change and the current economic crisis from radical and revolutionary positions. We see the ecological crisis as an indictment of dominant social structures. With this in mind, we would like to publish essays exploring this moment as an opportunity to radically restructure society for the better.

As a person of color who has bleed and sweated to build the Food Not Bombs and peace movement in Chicago I have never read anything more stupid or offensive coming out of the anarchist movement.
