Thanks. Is there any update on this? It appears that the account gets created correctly (trying to comment with the name "Tim Declercq" gives an error saying that a user with that name is already registered, so the account did get created in the database) but the activation email never got sent, so it's not possible to actually activate - let alone log in to - the account.

Obviously it's not yours, it says "(not verified)" - no idea how you got the name to display like that, probably some utf whitespace trick or something. Get a life instead of writing fake comments under other people's names.

So this is indeed how you did it, using UTF whitespace to get the name to display like that. Yes, very clever. Now as I said, get a life and stop writing fake comments under other people's names, and people wouldn't even need an account in the first place.

The display name this supposed historiography around using the known incomplete UTF database aka fake comments and then engaged in some selection bias with comment stacking/suppressing evidence and cherry picked six books and the anarchist news to reference. UTF whitespace is known to be a terrible tool to use for display naming analysis.

I read six books and the AFAQ that I cherry picked from google scholar. From these six books, my big brain concluded and claimed that blogs about the display naming of anarchism ends up being "UTF of the databases of these “fake comments”' and other anarchists and events aren't ever mentioned. If I expanded my library and research beyond six books, I may find that my assertions are incorrect. Iirc, most of those the display names I selected are intentionally just a generalized variation of Tim anyway.

I can see why I believe that "anarchism is a socialist ideology" and individualism is incompatible with anarchism. In the beginning, I eat feces and throw them at the more handsome chads of anarchism from a libertarian-fascist and republican perspective. I touch myself to ideologues select display names that confirm me. I am one of the shittiest display names I've read.

I am very smart.

Not sure if you're having a stroke or you are just incapable of forming proper sentences. And while I'm flattered that I get my own personal troll on this website with nothing better to do than writing fake nonsense comments in my name (means I must be really hitting a nerve lol), it is also a bit tedious because of the appalingly low quality. Also, "Tim Declercq" isn't a display name but my actual real name you idiot, and I know this is going to sound as a complete shock, but there is actually a world outside of 'Murika where people speak different languages and have different kinds of names.

The collective, do you think there is some resolution in sight regarding the account creation issues? Because this whole thing is really a tad tedious.

Sigh... The problem isn't wrong passwords, it's that emails aren't being sent. This could be an issue with an SMTP port being blocked, or incorrect permissions for the mailing script (as far as I know Drupal uses the following php mailer script: https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer). And if you're going to write fake comments, at least put some effort in making them even slightly credible.
