On February 22, 2025, a demonstration took place in Berlin in solidarity with Daniela Klette, who is currently imprisoned in Vechta prison awaiting her first upcoming trial.
On this occasion, the anarchist comrades Dimitra Z. and Marianna M., who are currently in Korydallos prison, sent speeches that were read out.

Statement of Dimitra Z.
On the 26th of February, last year, and after 3 decades of being in underground, Daniela Klette was arrested in the center of Berlin and was transferred to the Vechta prison. The accusations that the comrade has to face in the trials are the participation in armed bank robberies as well as the participation in some of the attacks with the armed organization RAF. It is worth to mention the way of the arrestment of Klette, that some journalists played the role of the cop and with the help of artificial intelligence they used an old photography of her and assimilated how she could look like today with the result to detect her in a random picture on facebook. The whole operation of the arrestment of Klette was reminding the manhunting of the 70s and 80s and it came to the front the myth of RAF. The state propaganda played a huge role in all the mainstream media by reliving the narratives of the past by mirroring the personalities of the fighters, depoliticized their actions and calumniated them.
However the comrade Klette (as well as the comrades Ernst-Volker Staub and Burkard Garweg, who are still in underground) managed for 34 years to live free in the heart of the beast being unobserved from the radar of repression. Their life is a proof that the so called powerful german state is a narrative that comes from their own propaganda and is nothing more than a house of cards. Even though the high developed technologies of surveillance, the uncounted of specialized units of repression, LKA, BKA, specialized scientists and technocrats and the militarized equipment, the comrade managed in these three decades to humiliate them by living in the center of Berlin, in Kreuzberg, one the most surveilled neighborhoods of the city.
The comrade with her life managed not only to proof the weakness of german repression, but also the fact that today there are still the means and the people who can ensure a life in underground.
The ridicule of the german cops was continued with the fact that the comrades of Klette, Ernst and Burkhard escaped from the arrestment beside the tremendous measures that were taken from the repressive mechanism the next days and the case of the three comrades is not the only example. The last years many accused Antifas, have chosen the road of outlaw and they do not negotiate their right to freedom and life.

Statement of Marianna M.
The level of the whole operation, the state of emergency which was prevailed during the first days of her arrestment and the perseverance that the german state preserves all these years in order to locate the „terrorists“ are leading to one main conclusion. The western anti imperialist armed guerilla which was active during the decades from the 60s until the 80s still constitutes an open „round“ for every state, especially the german which declares that it never forgets.
And that’s because all the armed formations which were active those years, as RAF, managed to exert polemic critique, to attribute responsibilities and to put on the table matter of revolutionary perspectives. During a period when people were revolting against their colonists, the western movements practically stood next to them, preparing for the battle, transferring the war back to the „belly of the beast“, creating an open front internally. A front strong enough to create obstacles to western imperialism. Today, 50 years later in a period of social and political contempt and retreat, the arrested anti-imperialist struggle consists one of the political tools that radical movements dispose. The transgression of the ruling laws is a fighting strategy wich continues to surprise and frighten them, a dynamic condition where emancipatory perspectives could arise.
Exept the timelessness, the necessity of this mean of struggle, even the slogans of the past could inspire the present fights. The international place in local fights and the ant-imperialistic confrontation in western metropolis connect the struggles of the past with the contemporary fights and offers revolutionary perspectives at resistance. The greedy ambitions of the west should find obstacles in the places from where they emanate the west centers. Comrade Klette was a member of the 80s movement, of the international movement.
She fights against exploitation and oppression, against patriarchy and capitalism, war and militarism. Comrade Klette from her early age decided to dedicate her life in the revolutionary struggle with unlimited commitment which accompanied her during her life managing to fight the repressive mechanism of the german state. She constituted parts of the radical movement and even now, from the cells of democracy she continues to fight and inspires us with her stance.
It is her consistent cause, her commitment and her determination, her not reconciliation and her uncompromised fight which reminds us why we should still fight, why we should still struggle. Even during our most difficult moments, when the system takes the life of armed fighters like Georg von Rauch, Petra Schelm and many more, as it took the life of the armed guerilla, our comrade and friend Kyriakos Xymitiris four month ago we must continue the fight.
We should stand next to our dead comrades, those wonderful people, the consistent, the sensitive, the ones who gave their lifes for the revolutionary cause. Those who understood themselves as part of the western revolutionary history, those who took their responsibility and debouched into the battle as the armed Guerillero Kyriakos Xymitiris who felt the same agony with the 80s Guerilla, the same rage, the same commitment, who was one of the few fighters who chose to grasp the threat of armed struggle and 2024, when the fight in the western metropolies is wavering between alternativism and conventions.
Even if the walk keep us apart, even if the struggle took our closest comrades we are together as we keep fighting. Together with Daniela, Monika, with Alfredo and Francesco, Mumia, Abdullah and all the political prisoners.
Together with Kyriakos, Wolfgang, Margerita and all those armed Guerillas who fall in the battle for a better world. Together with Holger, Helin, Bobby and all those who were murdered in the cells of democracy. Because revolution says: I was, I am, I will be again.“

Oooooo I am happy to see solidarity among guerrilla altough daniela is communist and not anarchists, long live historical RAF, angry brigades, red brigades, anarchist FAI, revolutionary struggle, CCF, ten chileans anarchist guerrilla... unfortunately daniela is under repression, they dont let her to have a pen to write letters, I asked one of her 3 lawyers to smuggle my letter to daniela to avoid that judge read letter, but shitty lawyers don't want to do it. but when garweg published letter from underground I collected information about Daniela, here are important things, I hope anarchists in berlin will make revenge in the name of daniela:

Klette was active in leftist groups from 1975 onward. These groups included the Anti-NATO movement and initiatives against the construction of Runway 18 West at Frankfurt Airport. Klette became member of the third generation Red Army Faction active during the 1980s and 1990s. Klette is suspect in the 1991 United States embassy sniper attack in Bonn and the 1993 (200kg) explosives attack against Weiterstadt prison under construction in the state of Hesse. In the 1990s, Klette went underground.
The Bundeskriminalamt (Federal Criminal Police Office) put out a public appeal for information leading to her arrest, or that of accomplices Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker Staub, offering a reward of 150,000 euros. Police found her after a tip-off from the public in November 2023 (later about that snitch).
Daniela Klette lived at Sebastianstrasse 73, on the fifth floor, under the assumed name Claudia Ivone and an Italian passport. She also had a Facebook account.
Daniela Klette has made no statements about the allegations made against her or about the RAF comrades.
when they arrested daniela, cops found newest photos of Garweg, they also confiscated fake documents and weapons, a Polish assault rifle similar to the AK-47 type and a Czech submachine gun. At least one of these weapons is said to have been used in several robberies. Ammunition was also found. cops also said, 240,000 euros in cash and a good one kilogram of gold have been seized.
It was pointed out that her photo as "Claudia Ivone" in a capoiera club in Kreuzberg could have been found by Khesrau Behroz and Bellingcat researcher Michael Colborne, using the face biometrics software PimEyes for the Legion: Most Wanted podcast (created by Behroz, below is his address)).
Daniela Klette is charged by public prosecutor in the city Verde and she is in Vechta prison (Justizvollzugsanstalt Vechta, Willohstrasse 13, 49377 Vechta). Beside prosecurtor in Verde who is first to charge her for criminal acts like robberies, the investigation against her is opened also before the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe by the federal prosecutor in Karlsuhe, he will charge her after Verde for belonging to RAF. Prison administration make harder life for her inside of prison, they don't let her to have contact with other prisoners, to have a pen or to have books. Prison director is Manfred Krohn, Chief Government Director since 2019, before that he worked also in other prisons since 2000, Lingen prison, Hameln prison for minors, Uelzen prison, he finished faculty of law. He got position from the ruling class and serve them, he makes prison life harder for Daniela Klette. you can see his photo in download link at the end and his working address is the prison, so, german anarchists can wait for him and punish him.
the Federal Court of Justice forbid to supporter of Klette, the Bremen activist and nurse Ariane Müller, on visiting Klette in the Vechta prison, the same as for the former RAF members Günter Sonnenberg and Karl-Heinz Dellwo. The excuse of the judge: They could help Klette to escape from prison or transfer messages for Garweg and Staub – which Klette lawyers reject as "mad".
Ariane Müller has now lost her post as a nurse at a Bremen clinic because she registered several solidarity demonstrations for Klette. Clinic said: Due to private political opinions, the leader of the municipal clinic holding company Gesundheit Nord (geno) company advised Ariane Müller to leave.
Ariane Müller, 66 years old, is a nurse at the Klinikum Bremen-Mitte and founder of the alliance for more staff in the hospital which is part of syndicate Ver.di. She is fihting against leadership of hospital since 2017 and now they misuse anything against her to kick her out of hospital. She said, in recent years, the working conditions for nurses have continued to worsen and 440 nurses will stay without job.
Klette had recently expressed itself in a statement that was read out at a left-wing event in Berlin in July. In it, she complained about her conditions of detention and about the "days of agitation" against her. Reports of explosives in her home are "a lie". In august Klette sent letter from the prison, she refused and condemned prosecutor propaganda that Klette, Staug and Garweg are just scrupulous criminal gang which robbed banks.
Also the accusation of attempted murder, because firearms were used in the attacks, Klette rejects: For people of the revolutionary left, this would never have been questioned. “The struggle for liberation is also about a world without greed for money, free from exploitation and all oppression,” she says in its statement. However, 26 years after the dissolution of the RAF, the state has put "further on escalation and denunciation" and yes cooking road and dust "with excessive effort and accompanied by brazen media agitation".
In the beginning of november Verde prosecutor published charges against her, 700 pages: 13 bank roberries, illegal possession of weapons, attempted murder.
Prosecutor tried to base charges on found data in her mobile phone and computer. The trio is said to have collected more than 2.7 million euros in roberries.
Now it is more clear what prosecutor wants, he charges Klette for attempted murder not only for bank robbery, in order that she get bigger prison sentence. Lawyers are fighting against it.
Since April 2023 Chief Public Prosecutor Clemens Eimterbäumer became the leader of the Verden Prosecutor's Office and the higher prosecutor is Katharina Sprave. They are under authority of niedersächsische justice minister Kathrin Wahlmann (SPD) who is also mixed in court process for Daniela Klette. Wahlman said to the media that they will rent building in the city for the process against Klette because ordinary court room is not enough big. She said Klette will be charged first for robberies by Verden prosecutor and later she will be charged for for membership in RAF by federal prosecutor and federal court of justice in Karlsruhe.
The Verden public prosecutor's office address is: Am Allerufer 8, 27283 Verden (Aller), daily prosecutor Alexander Hege, first prosecutor Martin Schanz and the head of prosecutor Clemens Eimterbaumer accuses Klette, Garweg and Staub for making eight armed robberies from 1999 to 2016 to finance their underground life. In a robbery in 2015 in Stuhr, the passenger of a money transporter was shot, and Klette is said to have threatened with a bazook.
The Verden prosecutor’s office had recently declared that he would be working “with a high pressure” to the charges against Klette.
Her lawyer Theune had previously criticized the detention conditions as completely exaggerated. Klette had to stay in her detention room for 23 hours, and she would be isolated during the one-hour walk. He rejected the acceptance of a suicide possibility of Klette. There are no evidence for this, Theune had explained. Klette is also said to have disputed suicide tendency. The video surveillance is therefore disproportionate and unlawful.
Her lawyer had also objected to a risk of escape of Klette that could justify isolation. There is no evidence for such an intention either. Nevertheless, the 65-year-old is not even allowed to have a pen. The receipt of books was not approved either.
Parallel to the Verden public prosecutor's office, the Federal prosecutor office took the case against Klette, Staub and Garweg with accusing them being involved in 3 RAF attacks: on a Deutsche Bank building in Eschborn town in 1990, against the US embassy in Bonn in 1991 and against a new prison building in Weiterstadt in 1993.

Khesrau Behroz is from kabul and he lives in berlin from 1994, he is now journalist and has legion podcast, With the Podcast Legion, Behroz found traces on the website of a Capoeira association based in Berlin-Kreuzberg in December 2023, he reported his finding to the police, which maybe led cops to the RAF Daniela Klette, who lived underground for 30 years. A connection with podcast research has not been proven, cops doesnt want to say that Behroz is snitch.
