Live Free is a digital counter-information project focused broadly on the Northeast of the so-called United States. From July 2025 to September 2026 Live Free operated a noblogs site (now archived as livefree.nUblogs.org).
In the wake of Autistici/Inventati being sanctioned as a terrorist organization by the United States government, noblogs servers have been shut down and the platform is no longer viable. In response, we have officially transferred our platform over to Espivblogs.net. We stand in unwavering solidarity with the team at A/I and will forever be grateful to them for hosting our site for a little over a year. This repressive operation dealt a huge blow to anarchist and anti-authoritarian counter-information projects but revealed a critical weakness: an overreliance on a single piece of infrastructure.
As radicals who pride ourselves in decentralization and spontaneity, we must be able to adapt and respond. The rebuilding process will be slow and hard, but the result will hopefully be a stronger, vaster, more resilient network capable of withstanding far more repression.
They think they have silenced us, but they have only encouraged us to become stronger. We know we will see many counter-information projects returning and being created over the coming months and years, across many platforms both online and offline. Although we operate one, we want to highlight the fact that blogs like these are not the only way to do this. Talk to your friends and neighbors, consider physical, offline mediums like newspapers and zines, experiment with technologies new and old, popular and niche, and find the medium that works best for you.
There will always be a need for our own ways of communicating and reaching each other, and there will always be people working to make that happen. It could even be you.
As we launch this new site, we will be continuing to research and build more backups and alternatives to keep this project alive. As such, our response time to emails will be a little slow. You are strongly encouraged to continue to submit news and analysis (as well as news of other counter-info sites emerging!), but we ask for some patience with how quickly it is posted. At the moment we can only be contacted by our protonmail account, but are working to create more avenues to be contacted.
