It is challenging, perhaps impossible, to heal deep wounds, especially if they are old wounds and in the absence of deliberate and radical actions with a critical perspective. Life in authoritarian and fascist societies is a wound. Decades of experience in political parties are wounds. Bitter and unpleasant experiences of the betrayal of trust after participation and cooperation with others are wounds. These neglected and repressed wounds joined hands and brought about new wounds.
