1. Last August, a widespread social uprising erupted in Indonesia. It began with demonstrations protesting tax hikes and pay raises for politicians. When the police killed the first person, the uprising escalated on August 28, and police stations and parliament buildings were set on fire, while politicians’ homes were looted. Can you say something about the conditions that led to the revolt at the end of last year?

A Conversation Between Warzone Distro and Anarcho-Nihilist Insurgents in So-Called Indonesia

On September 3rd 2025, we (Warzone Distro) were asked by some friends from the colonized territory of so-called Indonesia to relay perspectives from the battleground of what they call "The Parade of Rebellion Against Indonesia".

We are responsible for the burning of Two Hana Bank ATM machines, the Hana Bank office building, a capitalist-owned advertising videotron, and a motor vehicle belonging to the Indonesian National Army. The arson occurred after a space occupation carried out by demonstrators in the aftermath of a demonstration against the passage of the Indonesian National Army Law (TNI law), the arson occurred in Bandung, West Java on Friday night 21/03/2025.

Why don’t we declare our own war?

An orgy of violence, even slightly expanding the small window of allowed gestures into millions of precincts burning, writhing together in unlimited grief, unlimited pleasure.

There are so many people who feel safe calling for our deaths. They are the ones that should feel that their end is coming, because it is.

The Feminist Resurrection and the Beginning of the End for the Regime

On September 16, 2022, Guidance Patrol police in Tehran murdered a 22-year-old woman; allegedly, she was not wearing the hijab in accordance with Iranian state policy. In response, people across Iran have taken to the streets for almost two weeks, confronting police and opening up spaces of ungovernable freedom. For many in Iran, it appears that a revolutionary process is underway.

These questions were completed, as requested, for the first release of No Path[1] – a project aiming to make more links between the ‘anti-civilisation’ and ‘anti-speciesist’ strands in the anarchist world. The invitation to participate was very welcome, and it seemed a good opportunity to offer critical engagement with these tendencies, as well as talk about the upcoming Return Fire book which No Path had taken interest in. However, when the ‘zine went to print, No Path wrote to say that the fifth question and answer (the one relating to the focus of their project) had been cut, citing lack of space. Immediatism has recently added a number of recordings of writings by Black authors. The first is autobiographical whilst the second starts out biographical then segues to analyses of the laws and institutions that controlled Black people after the end of slavery. The third, No Selves to Abolish, presents afropessimism; "[I]t is not simply at odds with, but is in fact hostile to identity and privilege politics -- whether Black or non-Black" (from the intro on TheAnarchistLibrary.org). The fourth, Anarcho-Blackness makes the point that there are many anarchist factors and aspects at work presently in Black communities and asks the question: If Blackness is anarchic, do Black individuals necessarily need to identify as anarchists? Fifth is Flower Bomb's piece which analyzes The Future as a kind of control limiting us in the present.
