The VERA Project, at the corner of Warren and Republican
The Seattle Anarchist Bookfair bursts back into the scene, brimming with brilliance and boundless possibilities!
Responding to the call for neighborhood anarchist assemblies, efforts were undertaken to organize an assembly at Roxhill Park. Announcing The 2024 Seattle Anarchist Bookfair!
The Seattle Anarchist Bookfair bursts back into the scene, brimming with brilliance and boundless possibilities!
From The Nightly: UW's Anarchist Newspaper
May 11, 2024
After posting an article ever so lightly critiquing socialist organizing, we at The Nightly were shocked and dismayed to learn that people actually read The Nightly. We got several comments basically saying we were harming Palestinian liberation by questioning the means by which we achieve our ends. It’s a pretty glaring double standard, showing just how thoroughly organizing spaces have trained people to see authoritarian socialism as the default.

Dear friends, comrades, enemies and those to come.
By now I’m sure many of you have heard about the call for autonomous action to disrupt the defense summit in Seattle on the 12th. I want to urge you all from around the region to come out, and come out hard.
A call was recently made by a coalition of leftist organizations in Seattle to mobilize to disrupt this conference on its opening day, Tuesday March 12th.
In my biased opinion, it was the best anarchist bookfair of all time in the history of the multiverses or, at the very least, my favorite so far.
Report the Back, wherein our heras brave the unknown, discover new and familiar faces, and dispense and receive tomes and witticisms
This report back is very partial as your guide did not themself attend any of the workshops, content to lurk behind books and zines, occasionally emerging only enough to thrust a text at someone who lingered too long or looked too inquisitive. Perhaps workshop goers will add their efforts in the comments below, so that we may all gain from their perspicacity.
