Topic of the Week – This week we’re exploring the topic of drugs and the relationship to anarchy.

Who are your anarchist ancestors, and how disappointed are they in you?

Humans have long revered silence, yet we break it continually.

For this TOTW, lets consider the different ways that anarchists interpret "refinement" and respond to it. What do you think about the stereotypes? What do you think about the social norms? What do you think about the concept of refinement itself?

Topic of the Week - This won't be fully fleshed out (ha, did you see what i did there?) but I've been thinking a bit about the way that anarchists (at least as victims of western civilization) can be very abstracted from our bodies, how that is a part of computer culture, the impact of smelling people, of hearing them move and breathe, of the ways that being in someone's presence is more than the sum of its parts, of how ideas float away from our physical beings, of generalizations and how they are fun to play with but also distract from our subjective, individual experiences.

It’s unsurprising that the pioneers of society opted for a worldview which justified their every act of brutality upon the Earth.

What might animism offer anarchists as a contrast?

Topic of the Week - One way to practice everyday anarchy is by the showing of anarchist solidarity, sometimes through such mechanisms as networks and groups. These anarchist solidarity networks can also be known as anarchist mutual aid networks and groups along with things like your friendly neighborhood anarchist resource network. This week we’re taking a look at anarchist solidarity networks.

How open are you with others about your anarchist beliefs? What types of people? In what contexts? How do you feel about it? Proud? Ashamed?
