In Defense of One of Our Own

It’s almost quaint to declare permanent conflict with this society, with a world that sows domination in every corner. As long as it exists, conflict is guaranteed. And this world cannot exist without it’s strongest weapon: prison. The specter of punishment, the instrument of captivity, the ceaseless reformation of slavery. Until that realm is destroyed, freedom is meaningless. In our chosen struggles as anarchists, one of our tasks is to give real depth and content to our antagonisms.

Anarchist Infighting

From Debate Me, Bro by mk zariel & Hayden R.

TOTW: (Interpersonal) Conflict

How do anarchists have interpersonal conflict with each other, and how can we get better at it? We've all seen (or maybe even been a part of) projects de-fanged by the horrible Accountability Process Gone Wrong. 8th ASN Conference: Anarchism in/with/as/beyond CONFLICT

From Anarchist Studies Network

Call for Papers

Is conflict a problem to solve, an awkward fact of life, or even a virtue to uphold? Are particular conflicts ‘good’ or ‘bad’? Is anarchism in conflict with itself? Does peace simply equate to an absence of conflict, or is it an ‘equilibrium’ of conflicting social forces? War, huh? What is it good for? ‘Absolutely nothin’!’ (Edwin Starr, 1970).
