A Feral Life: One Last Nihilist Exposition

(Flower Bomb's final text)

So to the readers of my writing, I bid you a literary farewell! If my writing has inspired you to think differently, it is only because you had the courage to read something unfamiliar to you in the first place. If any of my writing has encouraged you to live more freely, it was only because you possessed the power to reclaim your life and live on your own terms. On paper, I am just an idea that you read aloud in your head with your own voice.

A Dagger of Feral Anarchy

by Flower Bomb

I remember once over-hearing a conversation in which there was a debate between using “post-left” or “anti-left” to describe anarchy beyond leftism. I thought this was an interesting conversation because it reminded me of how I once viewed and related to anarchy. I remember having viewed anarchy as a world to create, necessitating the organization of others to materialize it. Over time my relationship to anarchy shifted. Soon I found myself relating to anarchy as a sense of feral becoming – a personal revolt that placed emphasis on self – responsibility rather than co-dependence on others. This shift came from the understanding that people are not a singular mass herd of mindless followers but instead unique, complex individuals capable of independent thought, decisions, and actions. For me, anarchy beyond leftism abandons the idea that people are in need of organized leadership, and puts forward an understanding of how people discover their own power best when they’re governed, organized, or controlled the least.

Labcorp and Pub Rat Traps Sabotaged

ATTACK!

Full original title: ACTIVISTS SABOTAGE NEW LABCORP BUILDING AND DESTROY RAT TRAPS AT A NEARBY PUB.

With news of the five beagles liberated recently from MBR Acres filling us with joy, we set out to express our rage and send a message that even the family-friendly public-facing arm of vivisection isn’t welcome. We headed to the site and found it all but deserted, sneaking past the poorly fitted fencing until we were surrounded by machinery and rubble. Padlocks to the site and doors on construction machinery were glued shut, an assessment of the current interior layout was taken and as we saw a flash of hi-vis patrolling a chunk of metal was thrown through a main window, and we ran. After getting out of the area, we made a quick pitstop at a pub: not for a pint, but to hear the sound of cracking plastic underfoot as barbaric rat traps were destroyed and poison removed.

Why Nihilism? A Response to John Zerzans “Why Hope? (Critique of the Nihilist tendency in Anarchism)”

For years, John Zerzan has inspired my understanding of green anarchy through many of his texts. I enjoy “Anarchy Radio” and the topics he covers, as well as his sense of humor!

I recently discovered this text online and acting on an impulse decided to write up a quick response to it! As with all my writing, I only speak for myself and my own personal experiences.
