Philadelphia: The Anti-Parent Turn: A report back from the art march

From Philly Anti-Capitalist

...the intent behind the march was to mobilize against Moms for Liberty, and create space for a smidge of crime while remaining relatively accessible, and to end America. We accomplished two of these three goals. Anarchist mobilizations in Philly can often feel intimidating and stressful, we’d like to get better at opening space for people to feel good, dance, chant, and grow confident in what we’re able to do together. Anarchy can be an expression of cathartic rage through which we feel fleeting moments of joy. We know this can be harder to do when we’re on federal property, surrounded by cops, in Olde City. We would love to hear about how other people felt about the march.

XXVI ANTI-PRISON MARCH, CATALUNYA

From Act for Freedom Now!

Account from some anarchists who joined from out of town last saturday:

Shouting the whole way with passion and rage, 80 of us marched for over hour out of the town of Martorell, to the two prisons of Brians in the Catalan countryside. With chants, music and fireworks, we let the people held captive know they’re not forgotten, despite all the state’s intentions to isolate them. And through the walls and layers upon layers of fences, they called and whistled back.

Anarchist and Autonomous Formations Hit the Streets of Mexico City on May Day

from It's Going Down

Report from Mexico City on May Day, as various anarchist and autonomous groups and initiatives take the streets.

In Mexico City, a city where the revolutionary tradition of Flores Magon, Zapata, and Villa is alive and well, there were countless celebrations of May Day. Leaving aside the sparsely attended marches organized by Stalinists or the large glum parades led by bureaucratic unions and top-down clientelist “social movements” controlled by the ruling political party Morena, there were at least three marches that had notable participation from autonomist, anarchist or anti-state communist sectors, all of which converged in the Zocolo, the central plaza of the city.

Commies Attack Anarchists at a March in Greece

via raddle

Original full title: Brief update on the Greek Communist Party affiliated All-Workers Militant Front attack against anarchists at the General Strike rally in Patras

On 06/04/2022, during the rally of the strike march outside the Patras Labour Centre, two comrades attempted to denounce via the microphone the presence of the Association of Restaurant and Leisure Shopkeepers of Achaia Prefecture (S.K.E.E.A.N.A.) in the workers' march. When the PAME's [1] guards became aware of the content of the intervention, they interrupted the comrade who at that moment had taken the floor, throwing him down and immobilising him. At the sight of this attack, a few anarchists who were close to the incident, in their attempt to approach the comrade who had been attacked, were confronted by the PAME security, who, with excessive zeal and violence, attacked them in order to defend the presence of the bosses in the strike march.
