In Contempt #5: Anarchism & Solidarity on Trial in Texas, Free the Prairieland Defendants, Free Them All!

From In Contempt #5

We return, our hearts inflamed for our companions in struggle enduring the worst of state repression, with the latest In Contempt, a roundup of repression news, political prisoner updates, and prisoner rebellions. While repression may be inevitable for any movement for freedom, the future of the prison world is not. Until the day the cages are empty and the prisons are ashes, we must support those fighting inside for freedom.

PHONE ZAP! MALIK NEEDS OUR HELP!

From Malik Speaks!

Malik is currently being held in solitary in a cell with no bed, no blanket, no shirt. They took all his property away. He's got a slipped disk in his back and previous shoulder injuries and cannot be sleeping on the floor without a bed. They've also been blasting the ac in his cell nonstop and it's freezing. He's been on hunger strike 2 days, and will continue until they give him a bed, a blanket, and his property back.

Get Noah Comrade Kado Coffin Out on Parole Sooner

Kado is in the texas GIST unit and will complete his probation program on december 12. Now the problem is that paperwork then has to be filed so kado can get out on probation. I have called and talked to the office to confirm that guards can drag their feet and take their time so the paperwork if they are trying can take 1-2 months who knows how long if the guard is in a bad mood. So once that paperwork is done Kado gets out on probation. So He would really appreciate a phone zap to encourage the guards to finish the paperwork in a timely manner.

Will Sean Be Extraordinarily Renditioned… Again?

seanswain.noblogs.org

Sean’s support crew fears that Sean will be sent to another state, far away from his partner, his lawyer and many of his longtime supporters. His support crew is asking that Swainiacs everywhere to call Glen Elder, the ODRC official believed to be the contact for interstate transfers and politely express concern about Sean’s safety and the illegality and injustice of this process. You can reach Glen Elder at (614) 387-0815.
