Statement: Not One More Tyre Nichols

The following statement is endorsed by the membership of Black Rose Anarchist Federation / Federación Anarquista Rosa Negra.

On January 10, 2023, Tyre Nichols died from severe physical injuries, including a broken neck, sustained three days earlier at the hands, batons, pepper spray, and tasers of five Memphis, Tennessee police officers. As one of the lawyers for Tyre’s family described it, Officers Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr, and Justin Smith treated him like “a human piñata” during a January 7 confrontation.

If our lives are equivalent to a stolen vehicle or 20 euros of gasoline, it is our responsibility to make them worth it. Another state murderous attack, just one day before December 6, when cops murdered 15-year-old student Alexis Grigoropoulos. The 16-year-old Roma, Kostas Fragoulis, was shot in the head by cops over 20 euros of unpaid petrol. Our anger will drown you! Penis Man' Graffiti Artist Arrested by 25 Heavily Armed SWAT Officers

Accused "Penis Man" graffiti tagger Dustin Shomer announced on Facebook early Saturday morning that "25 heavily armed SWAT officers" had arrested him on January 23 at his Phoenix condo.

Tempe police confirmed on Saturday afternoon that they had arrested Shomer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
