TOTW: National Identity and Anarchy

I've been thinkin'. Y'know, bout countries?
I am writing this from a place the old coot who inadvertently brought me to the anarchy I know today called "The Untidy Snakes of Amerikkklan." Something that always got him riled up, other than Maoists being allowed at May Day, was when people would refer to the CNT/FAI of 1936 with the shorthand of "The Spanish Anarchists." They weren't all Spaniards, for one, and anarchists in Spain didn't stop existing in '39. Yet, for many, the Spanish Anarchists are trapped in time and place, a Promethean eternity of reliving their noble defeat at Brunete.
