Artxmis is joined by Kazimir Kharza, an anarcho-primitivist from Slovenia. He has a Youtube channel under his name, & a website titled “The Revolutionary Primitivist” which is “an online publication dedicated to worldwide propagation of revolutionary primitivism.
We believe that the emergence of organization-dependent technologies has resulted in unprecedented human suffering and environmental degradation. Our goal is to lay the foundations for a revolution that will undo this unfortunate historic development.” Artxmis and Kazimir discuss the context of the Balkans, contrasting Kazcynski’s conception of the anti-technology revolution with Kazimir's own view, and explore the myth of human weakness.

Living proof that primitivists are utopian daydreamers. Primitivism is just far-leftism in a new coat of paint. Insurrectionists just keep on winning.

y'all both fucks realize that prim and insurrect have a lot to lend each other? there's not any cops a mile from the nearest road in the woods. not any "targets" either, but yah, both types thrive on a gradient of control/territory. homemakers and night walkers both have roles to play

yeah but they get so tired after walking up the first hill that they don't want to go down the next one and up another one blah blah so, like, you get what i'm saying that it's kinda safer in the woods.

Seriously? A "primitivist" does not mean "luddite" nor does it mean they are living in a cave, rubbing sticks together and wearing animal skins. SMH

different commenter, but i'll bite.

primitivism is a PHILOSOPHY or IDEOLOGY that some folks use, much like anarchism, as guide or a way to navigate the world, but with the full realization that the world is not primitive or anarchist and most of your ideas and ideals with be looked at with derision and hostility by the dominant culture. its a guide and an inspiration for personal and collective action but not a utopian fantasy or dogmatic test of purity.

So many words, so little information. And it wou|d've been cool if primitivism was Luddism, Luddites live their philosophy at least, I can respect that. If primitivism actually was about "going to the woods" I would also respect that but no. What "primitivism" usually means is "retvrning to pre-modernity," but history doesn't go backwards so this project, like any prefigurative politics, is doomed to be a nothingburger. It's like the difference between communization and communism: yeah, words sound similar but the word "communism" is usually just another utopian ideology.

Neo-Luddism > primitivism, it is what it is.

A mechanic says a simple thing in a hard way, a Luddite says a hard thing in a simple way ( they smash it ), an individualist nihilo-anarch says nothing. ;)

what "hate speech" had it removed from YouTube? I refuse to click on ANYTHING related to Spotify, so is it available anywhere else?
